PORTO VERDE

About Porto Verde

Built by operators, for the brands behind the shelf.

Porto Verde is a partner-run, licensed cannabis and hemp micro-processor in Long Beach. We don't cultivate flower and we don't sell our own brand — we extract, co-pack, package, and label brand-supplied material so the people who own the brand keep the brand, and the margin.

Our story

We got tired of stitching four vendors together.

Porto Verde was started by partners who had spent years watching cannabis brands chase an extractor, a co-packer, a printer, and a distributor across four facilities — and watching product get pulled over a label error or a COA that didn't hold up under scrutiny.

So we put the steps that actually decide whether a SKU ships clean under one roof at 646 W PCH, Long Beach. We extract concentrate in-house, co-pack pre-rolls, infused pre-rolls, snow caps, gummies, and vape carts, and we package and label everything to state spec on our own equipment. Your material comes in; your finished goods go out.

We are deliberately a micro-processor: small enough to care about a pilot run, licensed and equipped to scale it once the accounts land.

What we stand on

The principles the floor is run by.

01

We don't grow it. We make it shelf-ready.

Porto Verde is a processor, not a cultivator. Flower comes in as brand-supplied co-pack input; finished, labeled, manifest-ready goods go out. We never grow or sell our own flower, and we never compete with the brands we produce for.

02

One roof, one chain of custody.

Extraction, co-pack, packaging, and labeling live on a single licensed floor. That collapses the hand-offs where quality slips and where a batch goes missing in METRC — the brand keeps one accountable partner instead of four vendors.

03

An honest engine.

We state what we can stand behind and flag what's still being confirmed. Potency, throughput, and lead-time figures are batch- and line-dependent, the COA comes from an accredited partner lab, and we don't dress up a number we can't defend.

The 2026 thesis

A saturated California market rewards the consistent.

California in 2026 is over-saturated. There is more licensed product on more shelves than the market can absorb, and the brands that disappear are rarely the ones with the worst flower — they're the ones that shipped late, failed a test, or got pulled for a labeling mistake.

In that market, manufacturing discipline is the moat. The brands that last ship the same product every run, pass testing the first time, and never lose a placement to a compliance slip. That is precisely the work a micro-processor is built to carry off the brand's plate.

We take on the operational and compliance load so a lean brand can spend its energy on the thing that actually grows it: selling.

Why a micro-processor

Not a contract giant. Not a back room.

A micro-processor sits in the gap the market leaves open — accessible enough for an emerging brand, disciplined enough to keep a scaling one out of trouble.

Pilot-friendly

Smaller than a contract giant

We'll take a thousand-unit pilot seriously and help you spec formats before you commit to a full run. No five-figure minimums just to get in the door.

Manufacturer discipline

More disciplined than a back room

Documented SOPs, QC gates, and in-line label verification — we run like a contract manufacturer, not a kitchen. That's the difference between passing testing the first time and getting pulled.

One tracked workflow

Single-source, end to end

Because the concentrate is extracted, infused, packaged, and labeled under one workflow, the claim on your package traces back to an unbroken record — not a number inherited from someone else's lab.

The facility

A licensed Long Beach floor, run like a manufacturer.

Our Long Beach, California facility houses an extraction suite, automated co-pack lines, and an in-house packaging and labeling room — built so a single batch can move from intake to manifest without ever leaving our chain of custody.

We operate under California cannabis and hemp licensing and run everything through METRC track-and-trace. We are actively building toward, and pursuing, GMP-grade and ISO-aligned process controls — we describe that work as in progress, never as a certification we haven't earned.

Partner-run

Operators on the floor, not absentee owners.

Porto Verde is a partner-run shop — the people accountable for your run are the same people who walk the floor it's made on. We'd rather introduce ourselves in person than overstate ourselves online, so come walk the line, meet the team, and see exactly who is standing behind your batch.

Work with us

You own the brand. We run the line.

We don't grow it — we make it shelf-ready. Send your SKUs, formats, and volumes, or come walk the line. We respond within one business day.
